Reformers Unanimous

Reformers Unanimous is the fastest growing and most effective addictions program in America. We meet at First Baptist Church every Friday night from 7-9 PM. RU is more than an addictions program, it is a Discipleship program that will teach you how to have a real walk with God. We have seen many people delivered from drugs (legal and illegal), alcohol, tobacco, pornography, anger, depression, etc. We have also seen God put lives and homes back together, many of whom thought they had no addictions. Come visit us on Friday night and see how “the truth can make you free”.  Click Here to find out more!

King's Kids

King’s Kids Club is open for all children from preschool through 6th grade. We meet on Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:00 PM, during the adult prayer meeting and Bible study time. Our emphasis is on Bible teaching and memorization for the purpose of developing Christian character and doctrine. Each night includes a Bible memory time, Activity time, and a Bible preaching time. Awards are given to the children as they progress in their learning.  Click Here to find out more!

Bus Ministry

Our Church Bus runs to Dixon and Amboy to pick up children and adults for Sunday School and the Sunday Morning Service. On the bus the children are led by our adult and teen workers in songs, games, and Bible stories.

Food Pantry

In partnership with River Bend Food Bank, we are able to purchase and distribute food to over 120 families in our community each month.  It is open from 9:00 am - noon the first and third Saturday of each month.

Jail Ministry

Chaplain Don Martino, visits regularly in the Lee County Jail in Dixon holding Bible studies and counseling with inmates. Chaplain Martino also has been involved with the Lee county court systems drug court program, as well as doing correspondence Bible classes with inmates in state penitentiaries. This ministry operates through the training and cooperation of "Law and Grace Ministries". Our goal is not only to reach the incarcerated with the gospel, but also to minister to their families, the victims of crime, and law enforcement personnel on every level. Click here to find out more!
